anyone else fall in love with Erykah Badu…

Tuesday, 30. March 2010

This is why I love politics. People get inspired to do awesome things… like Erykah Badu getting completely naked in her new music video as she walks along the street where JFK (that means President John F. Kennedy) was assassinated. From this story:

The R&B singer said she was making a statement against “groupthink,” which she tweeted was an “unwritten rule” that “i will not express my true opinion if it opposes those i love and fear.”

I agree with that “statement.” Screw all the prudes that don’t want women just randomly stripping off all their clothes in public. If there was a higher chance of that happening on a regular basis I’d go out in public more often. All being out in public has to offer now is a bunch of smelly bums and chicks not taking their clothes off.

Badu tweeted that “i was petrified while shooting this video … but liberation began to set in. i conquered many fears in that few moments.”

She said she was “too busy lookin for cops” to be embarrassed by her nudity. “i been naked all along in my words actions and deeds. thats the real vulnerable place,” she tweeted.

Well done Erykah, may you be an example to all women; preferably only the ones that look good naked… The video’s on her website and it tells you to click something, but you probably don’t know what they mean, but you just have to click on the little “formerly known as Prince” looking symbol. I don’t know why people need to be all creative, just say click here.
