Jon Stewart and the 40 writers have been keeping track of some publicized outrage people have for what they see as anti-Christmas, or something; the Daily Show thus declared their own war on Christmas. It was kind of funny, I guess. Then, as seen in this clip, they showed their War on Christmas bit, then showed O’Reilly talking about it and quickly cut to O’Reilly saying “Now, there is no question Jon Stewart it going to hell.”

Everyone who would know, knows that Stewart and O’Reilly have a nice little media war going; it’s good for both their shows. And The Daily Show can fall back on being a comedy show, so taking something out of context is no big deal. So, I don’t even know why I care to write about this. But before O’Reilly said this, he actually played a whole lot of The Daily Show’s war-on-Christmas tracking, and then agreed with some of what they were saying – the pilgrims banning Christmas celebrations or whatever – and then gave his own take on the whole thing. He did say the hell part, but it was a joke. He said it matter-of-factly, “Now, there is no question Jon Stewart it going to hell, but…”
