politician got high and took pictures of himself in a tiger suit, so what…

Some politician – named David Wu - from Oregon took a couple of pain killers, dressed up like a tiger, took pictures and sent them to his staff. What’s the big deal? I wish my boss would send me pictures all drugged out and dressed up like some animal. But, of course, people are idiots, from this story:

The state Republican chair and one of Oregon’s largest newspapers said Wu should resign, but Wu says he has no intention of quitting.

“He has a really important job, and the citizens of Oregon and the citizens of the congressional district deserve to have a congressman who’s completely focused on serving them and being a great congressman,” Oregon Republican Party Chairman Allen Alley said Wednesday.

Shut the hell up, Allen! How has this affected anything? A couple of his campaign staff left after his last election. Was it because of the tiger picture thing? If it was, screw ‘em. Good riddance. He should put together a national furry conference and show Oregon how much money those animal costumed freaks bring in. Before you know it, every politician will be dressing up like a tiger.

***I actually have no idea if furries would spend a lot of money in a city that holds a furry conference. I just assume, those costumes aren’t cheap, they probably have a lot of money and have no problem spending it on ridiculous things; they’d buy Oregon snow globes, whittlin’ wood and beaver skins.***

Yes – a furry convention can bring in money…

Anthrocon, the largest of the conventions, brings in over $3 Million over the July 4th weekend…and that’s in Pittsburg.
