Chicago’s mayor is sick of looking at all the disgusting fat people that he has to work around, and wants them to either get healthy or pay. He didn’t say that exactly, but he might as well have, from this story:
The Emanuel administration estimates that only 6 to 8 percent of city workers — including smokers, those overweight or suffering chronic illnesses — drive two-thirds of the cost of Chicago’s healthcare budget. Under the wellness program, employees will have choice: either join it or pay $50 a month more in premiums.
So that’s $600 a year to be lazy and able to do what you want… totally worth it. None of this would be necessary if we could just go back to the old ways of controlling obesity, ridicule and humiliation.
This is an ad for being able to mail in your vote in Illinois (I just realized I don’t know how to spell Illinois, why would I; but I guessed correctly… ta da, whatever). If you don’t get it, there is no excuse for not voting there, because you’re in your own house, so if you wanted to vote while naked you could. If I were a politician in Illinois, I would have the sexy campaign ads; some hot people, doing hot things to each other and right in the middle of it all is my name exactly how it would appear on the vote-in ballot. That way, when these naked voters saw my name, they would get turned on and vote for me. Genius! Too bad I don’t even know where Illinois is… or care to know. I think it’s somewhere near Chicago.
So, I guess, the city of Chicago wants more minorities on the police force. I’ve never been to Chicago, so I have to assume from this that they have a disproportionate amount of minorities on the police force in relation to the public. So, fantastic. But to get more minorities on The Force (as it’s called on television), Chicago’s solution is to get rid of the entrance exam… huh? Okay… So, to say it again in a slightly different way in order to emphasize my confusion, the city of Chicago’s solution to minorities not passing the entrance exam is to get rid of the entrance exam… Got it. Chicago thinks minorities can’t pass tests. Fuck you Chicago, you racist!
