A soon to be mysteriously poisoned to death punk rock band in Russia is voicing their opposition through song. The lead singer calls their prime minister a “pig” and speaks openly about how terrible the country is… I can’t say he’s wrong, but what the hell do I know, I’m sitting on a couch in a nice San Francisco apartment watching baseball all fatted up on Indian food writing a stupid blog about how some band will probably be assassinated for singing songs, acting all antiestablishment-like. Actually, one of the band members will be offered an apartment with running water and a loaf of bread for ratting out his “drugged” up cohorts. Running water is some sweet action, trust me, I know.

Oh, and did you see the headline on that story, “Russian punk rockers rage against the Putin Machine.” Fuckin’ stupid.

On a lighter note, when I was just a young lad, I used to hang out in Santa Monica, Ca and watch these adorable Russians sing in the middle of the street for money; they knew their place…
