Why does this law need to be set; it’s a taser law in California, from this story:

The court said an officer can use the weapons only if a suspect poses an actual threat. Disobeying orders or acting strangely isn’t enough, the court ruled. Officers who fail to follow the rules can be sued for excessive force.

This means officers were tasering people when they didn’t pose an actual threat? And let me just say, I am a huge fan of watching videos of people getting tasered, a huge fan. But shouldn’t police or highway patrol or whoever at least try to control a situation without tasering first.

Cop: Get over here.

Me: No.

Cop: Get over here now.

Me: No.

Cop: Get over here or I’ll put you in jail where there’ll be a solid chance you get ass-raped.

Me: Okay.

How hard is that?
